Klein High School

EMA provided Retro-commissioning services through the CenterPoint programs to address comfort issues at the District's high school. The four-story campus is separated into three distinct buildings and was one of the District's highest energy consumers. Upon completion, we discovered that the Outside Air minimums were set too high and were never met, which caused the OA dampers to be 100% open for most of the day. Our team walked the entire facility and recalculated the OA minimums. We offered several other recommendations that helped Klein High School save $37,000 in energy costs.
