Legacy High School

Tyler ISD

Project Overview

EMA was the lead MEP Engineer for the new construction of Legacy High School. Originally built in 1954, Tyler Legacy High School underwent a complete rebuild and was completed in 2021. Wanting to preserve some of the school's rich history, the scope of work includes the complete transformation of the campus, adding over 350,000 square feet of new school construction, and renovating over 100,000 square feet in a multi-phased, multi-year construction program. This resulted in a new, collaborative, 21st-century educational environment that is home to almost 3,000 students.
