Experience:

·         2 to 4 years of relevant work experience.  School experience may be substituted for work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Locate and use EMA network to find PDFs or plot PDFs for project under review
  • Review single discipline with the help of a qualified reviewer
  • Ability and willingness to increase knowledge and competency of review skills for all disciplines
  • Type up comments in the Quality Services OneNote tab in the Employee Center under the individual project.
  • Fill out QS Form for Quality Review correctly so that the Team is informed when the Review comments are ready to incorporate
  • Learn to review special areas like kitchens, roof plans, theatrical lighting, storm shelter, etc. with the help of a qualified reviewer
  • Begin learning what governs our design including codes (NEC, IESNA, IECC) and requirements (owner, city, architectural)
  • Locate and utilize the Quality Review Service Project Schedule (This schedule has assigned projects identified with reviewer’s name)
  • Ability and willingness to increase knowledge and competency of review skills for all disciplines and review all disciplines with competence
  • Prioritize the review process for a project
  • Learn to perform Quality reviews in a Bluebeam session.
  • Track job schedules and deadlines for Reviewer’s Projects
  • Communicate questions



Education/Requirements:

·         Associates of Applied Science in Engineering Design Technology, Certificate of Proficiency in Computer-Aided Drafting, or equivalent education preferred but not required.

·         Design experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing is preferred

·         Autocad experience is preferred

·         Revit experience is preferred
