Booker T. Washington High School

EMA provided Retro-commissioning services for Booker T. Washington High School (BTW). The high-profile magnet school sits at 166,000 SF and combines a renovated historic building and a newly constructed building.

Following the Retro-commissioning of BTW, EMA was selected to perform the design services for a complete HVAC renovation. EMA converted constant volume air handlers to VAV, the chilled water plant for primary, and secondary pumping, the auditorium to single zone VAV with displacement ventilation, and the electric resistant heat for outside air pre-treatment.
