EMA is looking for an experienced indiviual that has experience in the mechanical or controls related industry that is looking for a challenge, yet rewarding opportunity to work with a growing organization. 


Bachelor of Science degree in related engineering discipline and at least 3 years of experience working in a professional MEP service firm.

PE License preferred but not required.


Minimum 10 years of experience in a mechanical or controls related industry.


Works closely with the Regional SOLVE Department Leader to perform various commissioning and consulting tasks as assigned. Must be able to perform work independently. Some travel may be required. Must be capable of managing multiple projects at one time.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include:

Perform or manage all tasks of the commissioning process: Pre-Design through Occupancy Phase including Plan Reviews, site observations, MEP verification testing, etc.

Must be able to manage Client relationships with proactive communication and a high level of service.

Must be able to prioritize time and delegate tasks appropriately.

Write technical reports and observations in commissioning forms.

Must learn process for both Existing Building Commissioning and New Building Commissioning projects.

Knowledge of DDC programming, graphics, and ability to troubleshoot and use multiple BAS systems.

Knowledge of multiple HVAC, electrical, and lighting system types.

Manage billing deliverables in accounting software.

Consistent communication with the Regional SOLVE Department Leader and teammates.

Perform other tasks as assigned.
